A tesing par three gets the back nine underway, with the main feature being a very testing green. Anything pushed right from the tee will be in trouble, and a single bunker protects the left. With huge breaks to read, putting is a massive challenge.

One of the toughest holes on the course, the 11th plays every one of its 400+ yards. Big drives are rewarded here, opening up the green for attacking the pin, but with a huge gully before the green and a narrowing fairway, this is a test of any golfer.

The 12th needs a decent drive, because anything short can find horrible rough or the large bank. Another undulating fairway awaits, with 40-50 yards the difference between a good and bad bounce. With plenty of bunkers in play, and a sloping green, making a nett par here is a result.

Reachable in two shots by the big hitters, the 13th is one of the more generous holes on the course. If you can stay long and straight with your drive, then a wide-open fairway and a just single bunker are your rewards. The two-tier green can catch out the unwary, so check that pin position on your approach.

The longest par three, is a signature hole at Pickeridge. All but the biggest hitters will need their drive here, and even a hint of a fade will put you in a deep gully. Playing it safe is a sensible option, and with no bunkers to worry about, a good chip and a sinlge put is how most people make par.

The shortest par four on the course has the bumpiest fairway, the toughest green and an out of bounds on the left. The braver you're feeling, the shorter the hole will play, but three putts is a very common way to leave the 15th.

An innocent looking par three which catches many people out. Some very heavy rough and deep bunkers will catch anything pushed right, yet pulling your drive left will risk going out of bounds. The green is big, and with two tiers making things difficult, you're by no means sure of making par even if you drive it.

Another signature hole, and the one that can destroy a scorecard. The 17th pulls everything left until you reach the green. The two ponds are in play from the tee, and also on many second shots too. The single bunker sits short and right of the green, catching many a big 2nd shot. Leave here with a five and you've done just fine.

The final hole is a straightforward affair, but with a left to right slope for the length of the fairway, many tee shots fall into the light rough. Out of bounds protects the left side, and a single bunker wraps around a strongly sloped green. This is one hole where you don't want to be putting downhill.
